I’ve always been a storyteller. From dirt roads and porch swings to global boardrooms, I’ve learned that honest stories land harder than anything scripted.
For nearly two decades, I led brand strategy and executive communications at one of the world’s largest firms. I shaped narratives for C-suite leaders, built programs that reached hundreds of thousands, and saw firsthand how the right words can move people.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I was disappearing in the process. I didn’t just want to strategize stories — I wanted to tell the truth, and help people tell theirs. So, I left the big title behind to start Rebel Pine Creative, a home for bold leaders and the companies they've built — the ones who'd rather be real than rehearsed.
Today, I split my time between client work at Rebel Pine and my own writing — essays, a memoir (I Was Fine, Thanks For Asking), and the stories that come from living a messy, middle-of-life, middle-of-family kind of life.
When I’m not writing or building brands, I’m raising three kids (and two dogs) with my husband in Atlanta, which means I never run out of material.
I don’t have all the answers, but I do have stories — the kind that make us feel a little less alone. Pull up a chair on the porch with me and subscribe to get the newest essays and reflections, shared first by email.
